Ex Ghana international Samuel Osei-Kuffour has boldly predicted a 2-0 win for Ghana in the final 2012 Nations Cup qualifier against Sudan. The Black Stars who are tied on points with their hosts need to avoid defeat in Omdurman this Saturday to be certain of an automatic slot in next year’s finals. And Kuffour who has played against the Nile Crocodiles during his over a decade career says the Black Stars are more than capable of getting the job done in one of the difficult terrains on the continent. “The boys are committed and therefore don’t see the reason why we can’t get a win,” he said. “If you look at the performance in recent times especially against England, fantastic performance. “I am prescribing a 2-0 win and I am sure the players will deliver on the day.” Statistically, Ghana’s group stands a high probability of having the first two teams qualifying for the finals due to the superior build up as compared to the other competing groups. However, the Black Stars would want to avoid the complex mathematics which in the long run might deny them from playing in the competition they are expected to win by getting the result in Sudan.
